Facilities Technician - listed on 06-02-12 (closing date 07-03-12)

Responsibilities:

 

 

Daily operation, monitoring and upkeep of all facility equipments such as:
o Electrical supplies
o Air-conditioners
o Water supplies
o Security system
o Fire extinguisher
o Scissor lifters
o Forklifts, Reach trucks, and Pallet trucks
o General maintenance: lightings, fans etc
  • Sourcing and negotiating with vendors/contractors
  • Supervise renovation and repair work by vendors/contractors
  • Provide hands-on work on minor repairs
  • Ensure that all requests/complaints from users are promptly attended to
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • G.C.E. "O" level or Nitec/Higher Nitec in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services with at least 1 year's relevant working experience in a similar capacity
  • Preferably some basic knowledge of fire safety equipment
  • Be able to work under pressure and multi-tasks
  • Knowledge of ACAD, Ms Office and Ms Project
  • Able to perform overtime work on weekends and Public Holidays

Senior Maintenance Officer Commercial Building- listed on 30-01-12                              (closing date 29-02-12)

Responsibilities:

  • Handle site property management/maintenance and attending to tenants
  • Liaise and supervise both term and ad-hoc contractors on building maintenance

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of ACMV system, Hydraulic services, Fire System, Electrical services
  • Ensure scheduled programmed maintenance carried with assistance of Planner

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of a wide range of predictive and preventive maintenance activities (HVAC, mechanical, electrical) in respect of Plant & Equipment infrastructure to meet maintenance operational excellence objectives.
  • Provide leadership to ensure work is delivered in accordance with Client’s expectations and contractual obligations in respect to scope, quality, uptime, availability, safety, security and cost. Deliver projects to take advantage of energy issues, market forces and economies of scale ensuring maximum value.

  • Consistently deliver performance that meets  Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and develop a professionally trained and motivated team which utilizes reliability engineering and reliability centred maintenance principles, modern maintenance diagnostic technologies and statistical trend analysis principles and tools to resolve technical problems and proactively drive for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with the requirements of the Quality System, including OH&S and environmental procedure.
  • Provide strategies in relation to predictive / preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Responsible for reporting & timely escalation of issues. Meet all external and internal reporting requirements.
  • Cultivate a successful and trusting long term partnership with customers. Understand their updated business priorities (e.g. facility expansion and upgrades) and recommend appropriate strategy or business proposal. Play an instrumental role in problem identification and problem solving on equipment and facilities issues, with the ability to exercise independent judgement
  • Ensure successful project coordination and communication with all levels of Client, subcontractors, various internal departments and senior management to meet performance expectations
  • Responsible for team building, talent retention succession planning and training and development of the staff       

 Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management
  • Minimum 5-6 years’ relevant experience, with good overall knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Application
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, convince, persuade and influence
